Hans-Peter Feldmann’s $100,000 Room.
As the winner of the 2010 HUGO BOSS PRIZE, a biennial award recognizing significant achievement in contemporary art, Feldmann received an honorarium of $100,000. For his solo exhibition at the Guggenheim, he has chosen to pin this exact amount to the gallery walls in a grid of overlapping one-dollar bills.

I want to find this GIANT BLUE CAMERA!
I think its in South Africa cause of the soupa cafe sign in the background. Apparently, this giant camera is made out of a shipping container and linked wirelessly to nearby display scene. It’s a design entry by a talented artist from New Zealand for Nixon’s World Creative Imaging Competition. Check out the other entries at here!
HAPPY MONDAY!
Not really for myself with me being behind on school work and busy at WB, but I found some time to unwind. A friend suggested that I should spend one of my breaks watching this amazing film titled “Forever’s Not So Long”. It was written and directed by Shawn Morrison.
And I did. While I say the acting in the beginning could have been better, it was one of the best short films that I’ve seen lately. Beautiful camera work in some shots and just a unique ending. It has really deserved all of its accolades. Congrats to Shawn Morrison and all of his success. As for you, check it out yourself!
If you do enjoy it, you can watch some of his and his writing partner’s podcasts. Click here!

Yes, there is a shark in my tea. While it may not be real shark, it is a shark, a very well designed shark. Designer Pablo Matteoda made this creative shark for last year’s design competition organized by DesignBoom. I just recently came upon it. It didn’t win top prize but it did get third. Check it out!

Apparently so.
Designer Shi Yuan creatively designed a wallpaper that reacts to heat sensitivity so flowers literally bloom on your wall as it gets warmer. The print is painted onto the wallpaper. Maybe I should wallpaper my bathroom; I would see flowers when I get out of the shower. No idea about pricing, but it’s definitely worth it. Photos & link below.
